Im engaged! When should I start dress shopping?
Congratulations! We recommend start dress shopping around 10 months before your wedding date. Dresses do take time to produce and we need to factor in time for alterations, shall it be necessary.
Do I need an appointment? Can I just come in for a browse?
We are a by-appointment only boutique. We do accept walk-ins if we have no other appointments at the time. If we are already with customers, unfortunately we would have to send you away. It is always best to make a booking in advance.
What is your price range?
Our price range averages from $2500 - $4500, with some under or over this range.
I have a very low budget, can you help me?
Sure! We have sample sale events for past season styles few times a year where gowns will be up to 60% off! Follow our Instagram for regular updates.
I have made an appointment! How many guests can I bring with me?
Due to limited space the maximum number of guests you can bring is 3 people (excluding the bride).
Where should I park my car?
We are conveniently located just diagonally opposite the Emporium Shopping Centre. You can park at Emporium, QV shopping centre or the closest parking would be the St Francis car park located at 326 Lonsdale St Melbourne.
Can I take photos of the dresses when I am trying on?
We allow one photo only of your favourite dress.
You are fully booked on the day I want to come in. What shall I do?
Please give us a call and we can add you on our waiting list.
How long does it take to order a dress?
All of our off-the-rack gowns are made to order. It takes around 6- 8 months for a dress to come in. For custom-made gowns it generally takes up to 10 months to produce.
What if my wedding is coming up soon
Don’t stress! We often have store samples we can offer to brides who need a quick turnaround time. We can also place rush orders at an additional cost. Contact us to find out more.
What sizes are your samples?
AU 10 - 14. You don’t have to worry if you are smaller or bigger than this size range. We can make it fit to your shape. Plus size samples are in AU22 - 28. Gowns can be ordered in any sizes.
I have fallen in love with your gown but I still want to lose weight! What should I do?
It is always best to place the order once you have found your dream dress rather than to wait until you are at your desired weight. Styles do get cut by designers depending on demand. Once an order is placed, fabrics are secured for you and we can start producing the gown once you are closer to your desired weight.
You have an upcoming ‘trunk show’. What is that?
A trunk show is a special event where you can view and try on a designer’s latest collection. It generally lasts only 1-2 weeks. Most of the time we do offer event discounts during the showing. Once the trunk show is over, the gowns will be gone and you may not have the chance to try them on again. Be sure to follow us on instagram for all the latest updates!
I have a design in mind and want a custom-made dress. Can you help?
Absolutely! Our team of experts can provide professional advice on making your dream gown a reality. Be sure to tick the ‘custom-made’ option when you book online so we can allocate one of our couturier to meet with you.
Do you hire wedding dresses?
No, we do not offer any type of hiring services.
Can I order one of your dresses online?
You most certainly can. Please email us find out more about the process.
Do you sell any bridal accessories?
Yes we do! We have some stunning head pieces and beautiful veils especially designed to pair with one of our wedding dresses.
Do you have any food or drinks policy?
Yes, strictly no food or drinks is allowed inside our store. If you have food/drinks with you, we kindly ask you to leave them outside the door.
Alterations & Dry Cleaning
Do you provide in-house alterations services?
Absolutely! Our alterations team is highly professional and extremely experienced. You can rest assured that you are in good hands.Do you provide dry-cleaning services for wedding dresses? Yes we do!
How long does it take for alterations?
Depending on the amount of work, roughly 1-3 months is required.
I love a style but I want to make changes. Can that be done?
Of course! Our alterations experts can go through all the options with you at your consultation.
How many fittings will I need for alterations?
In general, we only need around 2 fittings to make sure the dress is the perfect fit. For custom made gowns it will take more fittings. This will be discussed at your first appointment. For interstate brides/overseas brides we may be able to offer same-day alterations services.
Do you do alterations for mother-of-the-bride, bridesmaids, groom suits etc?
I know someone who can sew! Do I have to alter the dress at your store?
Absolutely not! You are most welcome to take the gown elsewhere for alterations. There is no obligations at all to have it done by us.
Covid Safe Guidelines
Please note that we have new rules in place for appointments:
- If you present with flu like symptoms on the day of your appointment, you must advise our staff and reschedule your appointment. In the interest of other customers and our staff's health, your entrance may be refused if you or your guest appears unwell.
- Customers are allowed to bring up to 3 guests with them only.
- We are not accepting cash payments at this time.
